Hey there!  Thanks for taking a few minutes to learn a little more about me.

I have been involved in Network Marketing since 1997.  I was 19 and a junior in college when I was first introduced by my girlfriend’s father (BTW – she’s my wife now).

At the time I really didn’t know anything about it.  I just liked the guy’s daughter so when he asked me to go to a “meeting” to check it out I thought, “Well, I guess I should go if I want to keep dating his daughter.”

And so I went and of course I fell in love with it.  When that presenter reached the residual income slide in the presentation I was hooked.  I thought, “All I have to do is find 3 and they’ll find 3 and they will all find 3.”  You know the rest.

I went home that night and dropped $745 on a credit card (that I had no way of paying back) and started my journey in Network Marketing.

For the next 3 years I treated it like a hobby and it paid me like one.  In other words, I spent way more than I made.  In fact, after 3 years I had 24 bodies in my “business” and 23 of those I paid for to join (don’t ever do this).

It’s safe to say that I didn’t get off to the best start and I’m not going to bore you with excuses as to why.  The reality is that I didn’t take it seriously enough and didn’t make it a big enough priority in my life.

It wasn’t until after I got out into the real world (working in Physical Therapy) that I came to the realization that working for someone else wasn’t for me.  I wanted the freedom that Network Marketing could provide.  I also wanted my wife to be able to be home with our kids so I had to make something happen.

That’s when things changed for me.  I found my “why” and when I promised my wife she would be able to be home with our kids I began to take my business seriously.

With that same company I was with for the previous 3 years, I decided to work it hard.  Around my 50 hour per week job in PT, I worked another 30 to 40 hours per week in my Network Marketing business.  Within 14 months of that all in effort I matched both my wife’s and my income.

Of course, a success story wouldn’t be any good without some adversity.  In 2004 my first and only Network Marketing company decided to dissolve its Network Marketing division.  I was crushed emotionally and thought my life was over.  Thankfully I didn’t give up.  I committed to being successful and forged ahead.  Since that time I have built teams of over 50,000 and made millions of dollars of income.

Today I am a father of two amazing children and a husband to the most incredible woman in the world (my high school sweetheart).  We live in beautiful Santa Rosa, CA and are actively involved in our community.

I have been fortunate to work with some amazing people and have learned so much in this journey.  That is why I decided to create RealNetworker.com.  I felt like there was a need from networkers to receive real training from people who have actually built a real business.  I hope that you’re able to benefit from the information I have to share!
